Ambiant lighting and driver seat

Does anyone know if the RR has interior Ambiant lighting that lets you change the color? Also with the driver's seat, does it slide back when you park and get out and slide back when you get in automatically?

I'm pretty sure the ambient lighting on the Lariat and Raptor lets you adjust the brightness but does not offer different color choices.

In the RR, your seat will automatically slide back and then back to your saved preference once you start your truck. You can also turn this feature off if you want.

Ambient lighting is kind of a yellow orange color. Lights are located in the door panels, center console by the phone cubby, and below the upper glove box. You can change the brightness in the infotainment screen but not the color.

Driver's seat has easy entry/exit that can be turned on or off also through the infotainment screen.

I'm curious if the LED's are white with a colored cover or if multicolor and if it can possibly be adjusted in FORSCAN.

Played around with FORSCAN a bit and was able to get this screen

But as you can see, selecting a different color had no effect.

You need to replace the installed leds with rgb leds to get the color changing to work after adding in Forscan. I only had blue ice leds for the cup holders and rear seats when I added them to the Ranger Raptor and just went with that. The shifter and all other buttons are blue ice so I think it works.

Nothing with Forscan. I physically added ambient cup holder and rear seat LEDs from other Ford vehicles added a wiring harness to connect into the light above the glove box.

No, I know what you did. My comment was for @jrRaptor, he was able to get into a module in forscan to access the ambient lighting color part on the infotainment screen. Regardless of not being able to actually change the color.

Sorry, I thouht you quoted my reply. I believe the ambient lighting colors are in the APIM if I remember correctly. The color changing should work if you change the LEDs. This has been done on Super Duties I know.

Something like what the Bronco crowd did in this thread may be needed for us. Seeing as if those are 3 wire leads (aRGB), that gives me hope for a simple plug and play swap using similar hardware they dug up
