Don't care. Still want it removed. And aren't they speed rated S at 112? That's my only issue.

I mean, 108 is 96% of the tire rating. Which is a really low safety factor considering this sue-happy country. You could get higher rates tires and probably change it through Forscan.

No you can't. It's only don't through the ECU.

You could do it in a round about way, but lying to Forscan that you have different size tires
Not an option. I like having an accurate speedometer.

Regarding the speed limiter….I wish it was higher

in Texas, the 130 toll road has a posted speed limit of 85

I put my cruise at 89

sometimes I pass a semi at 100+ for a moment

setup: 4 lane divided highway…very remote south of Austin

No regrets at all. Not only is it a nice and noticeable increase, especially in the midrange punch, but gas mileage hasn't suffered at all and you don't negatively effect warranty or durability that I have seen.

I waited until guys had it for over a year to see if there were any big issues. I guess I misspoke earlier, I do have a regret; not doing it sooner.

Based on everything I've heard the Procal is a very tame tune compared to what you can get aftermarket. Ethanol would probably give me another 100hp.

My only hesitation is the warranty. I purchased an extended warranty from Ford when I bought the truck as I plan on keeping it long-term. Don't plan on any mods such as larger tires, etc. I wish there was a definitive answer from Ford.

Just get an aftermarket tune. They can't track those if you flash back to stock.

Fortunately why far smarter folks 'understand and establish limits' to protect public from those oblivious, nonsensical ignoramus, entitled individual ever-present and unable to discern 'the why'...

There are no unsafe speeds, only unsafe drivers. Especially 108 that's barely anything in the high performance world.

If you're unskilled don't do it, fella. Just cause you posted a picture of someone's crashed truck doesn't prove your point. Putting speed limiter on vehicles is due to liability. But trying to call other people stupid because you're not capable is kinda stupid. Cause you know, maybe people want to race at the track.... and before you say something stupid like "it's a truck. Why would you race it at the track? ". Because we live in a free country.
