That thing looks great. I dont see any reason why it would not fit. I could have used it the last two days while we were moving my son from one house to another.

The bumpers and beds on trucks are so dang tall now days. My 04 ranger bed can be easily gotten in and out of and i keep thinking about lowering this truck make it easier but i would hate to mess up the smooth ride it was right now

I just wrote to the company and asked whether it would fit my truck, and if not, why. I will report back when they respond. I can climb in and out of my truck, but at my age and with my creaky knees, another step wouldn't hurt! And I like the easy installation and hide away feature...

I like that too. I grew up a long distance runner in jr high and high school, than went to airborne school in the army so i know the knee issue. I would love to have a nice low step to hit first when getting on the bumper

A number of years ago I had something similar, except they were mounted on the sides to allow access into the box, have not been able to find them, anyone seen anything like that?

The Armordillo step is a knock-off of the Carr step. The Armordillo step is made in China and the Carr step is made in the USA. Here is the Carr step that you can by from etrailer: https://www.etrailer.com/Hitch-Step/Carr/CARR183252.html
The two video's on etrailer's site should be helpful.

I heard back from Armordillo. They said: "Hi, thanks for reaching out. Rest assured, this will indeed fit your vehicle, the reason why it says it won't fit in the fitment is because we have not yet updated to the 2024 models and above, sorry for the confusion! Will fit as long as you have a trailer hitch with a 2" receiver, thank you. "

This is different, I know, not on the hitch. But works for me. Had it made by my b-i-l.
