Aux Switch control

I installed accessary light using one of the aux wires for 2025 Ranger Raptor. The light comes on when the car turns on. Aux switch inside does not do anything. Am I missing something?

Which wiring harness did you connect the light too? What were the wiring colours?

Take photos of your connections and lights - it’s a bit hard to know what’s going on without more information

I connected to Aux 1 and Aux 2. they behave the same. when the car is on, light is on, when the car is off the light is off. Aux switch in the car does not do anything.

So, when the truck is on the switch does not energize and energize the light?

It does power the light. However, Aux switch does not turn on or off the light regardless of the car being on or off.

OP - Sounds like your wires are swapped somewhere. You'll need to test the connections with a multimeter. Might want to start with a 3rd aux circuit as a reference, like the bed, to see if it works as intended, then go from there.
