Has anyone wired auxiliary back up lights into the trailer seven pin plug? If so what was the color code for the reverse and did it work? Thx

I wired back up lights to the AUX #3 switch. Just flick it on when you need it as you don’t always need the extra light every time you back up. Another positive to having it switched is if you’re backing up while in traffic, you don’t want to be blinding everyone else around you

AUX#3 & 4 wiring is right there by the tow bar too, couldn’t be easier. Wiring for switch 3 is labeled as ‘camping lights’ so I used that for my back up lights and #4 wiring for my air compressor

I did the same on #4. I also covered the lights with removable lens covers in case I accidentally turn them on while going down the highway. They’re very bright.
