Dear joordan,
I'm new here in this forum. I own a 2025 Ranger Platinum (German version) with the aux-switches built in.
My question is, if you could post a photo of how and where to move the fuse in a different position. I cannot find such a possibility in my Ranger's fuse-box. It seems that this option is not available in the german version. See the foto of my fuse box:

My intention is to install a marten protection in the motor compartment that can be switched on and off by the aux-switch 1. I already found the right cable nearby the fuse-box to connect it, but therefore I need to have permanent power via the aux-switch 1.
Would be great if you or somebody else could help further.
Thanks in advance,
Mzatrix
looks like there is space there to move the 5amp fuse over to the right

Thanky for the fast reply. Unfortunately this link does not help further.
Quote: "These switches operate when the vehicle is running or from battery power, depending on the switchable fuse AUXF4's location in the upfitter relay box."
There is not such an AUXF4 switchable fuse visible- nor in that description, neither in my fuse box.

That is why I was asking for a photo of a box where this is visible. I am curious of how this fuse would look like to find it in my car.
That should be the 5amp that has a slot to its right. Try it and let us know :)

I checked the 5 amp fuse. In this box the 5 amp fuse is the fuse for aux1 switch. If you shift it into the slot to its right, aux 1 does not supply any power (also with car running).
If I look deep into this open place, there is nothing visible inside. There is no contact wired.
In the meantime I found youtube video of a different (US-)car that shows how to move that fuse. There the fuse indeed is for the power supply of all the aux switches and not for the output of aux 1. But it isn't like this in the box of my car on the foto.
It seems that this fuse box is not wired like the ones in other countries (Damned!). Seems that one has to re-wire the whole fusebox - or find another solution...
Thank for your help.

In the meantimer I found a document in the net, that obviously describes the wiring in the german rangers. This document describes a lot, but nothing about of how to switch the aux to permanent power supply... (hahaha) - not available for Germans - thx FORD

I tried it in mine too. I’m going to have a look over the weekend to see if I can add a terminal underneath to connect the fuse that way. Mine had a guard on that you had to move as well

Hi,
I found a solution on German version.
My Ford dealer connect permanent 12v to the two grey/orange cables going to the big plug.
With this I got permanent power on auxiliary switches.
I made some changes to be able to change between permanent power and power on run.
I connect the output from aux 5 to the grey/orange cables instead of permanent 12v.
Now I can decide if I want permanent power or only on run. Works fine for me.
Pictures from test below. Now it is we’ll connect and sealed.

Dear Pit77, thanks for the information. I'll have to talk to my dealer to implement a similar solution.
It is a pitty that german cars - coming out of the same factory - do not have the possibilities of other countries. I wonder if Ford wants to detract from German market....

I think it's unfortunately more pedestrian and less interesting. Some focus group probably churned out stats that you would be only 47% upset vs 62% in the other market so save the fifty cents... Usually how some of these exclusions go.
