Just got my AWE exhaust installed on my Ranger Raptor and so far I absolutely love it. I wish I knew some things prior that I found out after but I am absolutely in love with it. I have a AWE exhaust in my Bronco Raptor and I thought that was amazing but I think this one even sounds better well done AWE this should be a hit.
I added some pictures. I am pointed at the clamp. They installed it and it drove me nuts because it was just aluminum clamp and for some reason my eye was drawn just to the clamp so I painted mine so now you can see what it looks like painted but the sound is phenomenal. Maybe it’s all in my head, but I swear it’s a little more responsive a little more peppy, but I love it. Good job. I love it. I recommend it to everybody..

I have tried to make videos of sound and all of mine suck. I’m gonna try one more time for a cold start.

It’s going to take a couple days to get use to the 5” tail pipes but your going to love the sound. Oh! You might smell something that smells like bury plastics. It’s normal, it will take around 100-200 miles to burn it out. I flipped out then I callled AWE. 100% normal.

about a week in and i'm 100% used to the 5in tips. i think it matches the overall look of the truck and doesn't look out of place. and even so, at least these RR's have the power to back it up. i've already posted in another thread, but here's a couple sound clips: the first is a cold start.. sorry the rev's are so shy, truck wasn't warmed up so i didn't want to over-do it. S

Second video has some better revs, i'm not sure what mode it was in though becuase i have having some issues with the actuator valve pin. After getting it fixed for a week now and getting used to the tone, i think it was in Sport Mode.

So what is going on with the cold starts? Obviously when you first start the truck up it sounds really good even with the stock exhaust but after 30 or 40 seconds or so the sound cuts in half. Any idea what that is?

Tbh I’m not exactly sure… but perhaps just sits at a high idle to warm up the truck faster? My neighbors 5.0 mustang always does the same.. could be a ford thing.

my issue was related specifically to the supplier that provides the actuators for AWE. They forgot (or poorly installed) the pin, and the motor was spinning freely, not making contact with the dummy plate therefore my exhaust was stuck in a one of the exhaust modes.
