Best license plate designs?

I had the same license plate # since 1997. I recently gave it up because I couldn't stand the new pine tree plates we have. So I paid extra to get the light house plate.

Found the Ohio plate when I was just a kid riding my bike over old lake dredgings. Found the Va plate decades later while hunting neighbor's land behind our house.

I use the Texas handicap disabled vet plates. Free to re-register each year instead of 75 bucks.

And since I was in the army, I chose the army plates

I found this PA plate from 1914 buried near the foundation of our barn:

The newest PA plate that came out last year is boring! In real life the Liberty Bell is barely viewable and EZ PASS reads the 0 as an 8, causing all kinds of issues.

A few early West Virginia plates from Dad's collection. Considering the "roads" in WV in the early 1910's I'm amazed these survived in this condition.
