Bilstein 5100’s?

Anyone in the know or have an inkling when Bilstein 5100’s will be released?

Really like my ‘24 XLT; but find that the shocks are a bit soft for my preference; that and I’m wanting to level out the front end.

Same here. I called them up early last week- they are waiting to find a ranger to perform engineering on according to the rep I spoke with so who knows how long it will take to actually hit the market.

I'm also looking to change out the fronts with a level, the stock ones i agree are to soft, had the 5100's on my '19 and they are great shocks hopefully they can get their R&D done soon.

Replace the FX shocks on my '20 FX2 with those. They are a great shock. The Ford FXs were so bad in my OP, instead of selling them like new, I put them in the Trash can to spare anyone foolish enough to purchase them.

Yes a lot of things changed for the better from the 5th Gen but the shock valving is still to soft, i can see & feel the front end 'floating' at highway speeds under certain road conditions, not a comfortable feel .

The FX shocks that came on the '20 had a combination of very hard compression with near instant rebound. It felt like a kick in the Kidneys over the smallest of city imperfections. Absolout fear seeing a sharp edged bump coming up. tThe 5100s literaly changed the whole dynamic of the Truck. It became a slightly Snug, great riding truck. Can't imagine the idiot ford engineer that got is so wrong. I think they installed the valve bodies upside down. I really do. My Current Non FX XLT feels buttery soft. Feels like a BMW X6. I think a set of 5100 would Snug up the suspension pretty well, w/o any harshness. And Fk Fx shocks. lol.

I have been waiting for the same with Eibach. What I really do not understand is that the Bronco has the same front end and our rear end is basically the same as the 5G with the rear shocks now on the outside of the leafs, so I do not see what major "engineering" needs to done here?

The aftermarket in NA has been lazy to respond in my opinion.

I agree, although there could be a slight difference that requires some small re-tooling and since there's not a lot of Rangers those aftermarket Co's may wait for more volume production numbers to hit the streets to justify their investment, considering not every '24 Ranger is going to change out their shocks so soon. (except for us crazies here)

any one else can support this info.

Bilstein 5100 suspension +2” lift in the front; fronts coilovers are actually made for the Bronco and fit great, the rear shock absorbers are made for the 5G Ranger.

That sounds like marketing hype. they make shocks for a living and with only a slight change placement, a computer model could easily tell you what changes occur and what needs to be
changed to keep the current parameters. I guess its up to the aftermarket to help answer wither the older shocks will work. I have some 2023 rear eibachs coming and will also let other know if this works and how the ride is.

I found a ford dealer parts site to cross ref the 5G OE shocks with the 6G OE?
5G front shock part # KB3Z-18124-B 6G is # MB3Z-18124-BJ these are non Raptor.
No tech specs on either of these.
Also Bilstein may not have gotten in a donor '24 to actually do any checking so thereby giving that plain jane answer posted above.
