Birmingham, Alabama FORScan

Hi All -

I am looking for a shop or individual in the Birmingham area that can make changes to my 25 Lariat. I would like to get the seatbelt screen and bell turned off as well as the auto-stop feature. Maybe a few other similar minor changes that can be made using FORScan. I‘m retired and do not own a laptop. All my devices are iOS phones or tablets and they are old like me. I’ve been to my dealer and 3 different shops and none are willing to make changes due to liability reasons. I would rather pay someone else than spending money on computer and other items needed to use FORScan myself.

Does anyone know of a shop in the Birmingham area that will do the work. Or, is there anyone out there in the Birmingham area that I can hire to make the changes?

Be glad to do it for free, if you still need it done next time I'm traveling through. Went by 4 times last month. Nothing scheduled at the moment but I'll add this to my notes.

If you want someone now, look in your area for shops that sell wheels, lift kits, car audio, anyone who offers dyno tuning. Most of your aftermarket wheel shops use it to calibrate speedo, and all the various new sensors. Car audio does it a lot for customers going over to LED's or fake engine sounds, custom sound tuning. Your speed tuner type shops could as well but probably be harder to find.

I think they make iOS versions of forscan along with Android.

Ask on facebutt marketplace and you will probably get a number of people who will do it for you. There might already be ads up offering to do it.

My buddy and i had ads up in our cities for a year or so to do forscan mods for people. I didnt get enough hits to keep it up so i stopped my add but my buddy said he makes about 2k extra a month doing it where he lives. I live in a smaller city so not so much work here for that
