I got with my buddy Chris from Bynd4x4 and he made a Tactical Camper for the Ranger. He usually only does it for the Tacoma's and Gladiators but he was kind enough to make a 1 out of 1 for me for right now. He will order and build more if more Ranger owners will be interested of buying one. I seen his camper a lot at events and when I go camping with a group. I always wanted one when I had my Tacoma but never pulled the trigger because I already had a bed rack with a tent setup. Scroll down to see how it's bolted down to the factory locations.
Here is some specs:

Here is how it's mounted to the bed. There is no drilling or clamps. It uses all factory holes. You have 6 filler brackets that go inside the top of the bed rails where the cover pops off and 4 brackets that attach to the factory tie down bolts.

Not sure you can call this tactical without dual laser pointers to guide you while parking, 45 degree offset flip up iron sights to lower the bed gate, and camo painting so you can camp stealthily in the walmart parking lot.......

Naming issues aside, it looks good. The mounting system is also nice without the drilling. Does the rear window the buts up against the rear glass open for pass through as well or no?

You sure can mount all that kind of stuff on it if you want to make it a true tactical camper. lol. The rear window does slide open.

I'm surprise it's been a year and a half and I'm still rocking this Camper. So far My wife already hit the top portion of the tent into a carport, I hit the camper into a tree while rock crawling, and did several jumps with it. After all of that and 15K miles its been holding up like it was still new. No leaks and functions. So far I been loving this camper and I wound't go with another one.

i think it looks super cool. i would have to pass though because i don't like the high edges over the cab and i don't need the tent deck and that stuff. if it was just the camper part, i could definitely go with it.

and it seems like he could easily make it just the camper shell part.

i think he could use your experiences on the advertising though to show how well its made. i am sure lots of camper/shells would not have fared as well hitting trees and carports
