Canceled Raptor waitlists?

I've been on the waitlist with Granger for 2+ years communicating back and forth via email and phone regarding my spot on the waitlist. I emailed them recently and they said the list was scrapped and the salesperson is no longer with em.

Anyone else lose their spot for the Raptor?

I guess I'm just gonna go for TRD Pro Taco now.

Sounds like you only had a spot on the 1 individual salesman’s list, not Granger.

Have you actually seen or driven a
new Taco, or GM for that matter? May not be able to just go down and purchase any of the competitors yet- except maybe a Nissan Pro 4 X?

Some people here said they knew of dealers with their allocation unused, maybe start calling around and see if you can find 1 of those?

I'm kind of surprised that none of the dealers that put me on a list haven't called. Seems like they would want to at least get you into their order banks even without an allocation.

The ordering process is pretty garbage. Puts way too much onus on dealers to have their shit together AND not be sleezy. I have my order in with Ford and my salesman told me I have one of their 2 allocations, but I still won't trust them till Ford sends me a VIN and will still be holding doubt till I sign paperwork with no dealer adds.

I feel like I need to stick up for Granger here.
I was confirmed…in writing…as #1 on their Ranger Raptor list with the Owner of the dealership over two years ago.

Zach and the Granger team has done everything they committed to on both my Bronco First Edition order as well as my Ranger Raptor order.

They provided everything in writing two plus years…and lived up to exactly what was written…immediately after the order banks opened. My Raptor is scheduled for the week of 9/18.

I can’t speak for your experience but Granger has been nothing but straightforward in my experiences to date.

You’re gonna have to wait for a Tacoma, too. Can’t even order those until early next year and I know dealerships are already taking waitlists. Same for Bison and AT4X.

I get you’re mad at the sales guy, but don’t cut your nose off to spite your face. Pick the truck you really want and start calling dealerships. All the models I mentioned will likely have markups as well so get what you want and settle in for a wait.

The AT4X seems like it might be easy to get a hold of. I talked to a dealer last weekend that had 2 in transit and neither was spoken for. They wanted MSRP+$1500 nitrogen tire fill. They had just sold one off the lot that morning as well. My brother just signed paperwork yesterday on an in transit ZR2 at MSRP.

I'll bet RRaptors won't be very hard to come by after year 1.

From what I have seen, the AT4X is good, but not as good as the raptor.

The AT4X seems like it might be easy to get a hold of. I talked to a dealer last weekend that had 2 in transit and neither was spoken for. They wanted MSRP+$1500 nitrogen tire fill. They had just sold one off the lot that morning as well. My brother just signed paperwork yesterday on an in transit ZR2 at MSRP.

I'll bet RRaptors won't be very hard to come by after year 1.

you can't order tacomas at all. if you want a specific build you need to hope your dealer can locate one since toyota refuses to do build-to-orders, often the search takes months if not years to get exactly what you want. otherwise you deal with whatever you can get your hands on.

Yeah we have one too...only $799.99 Canadian.....full tank of gas(about $100 depending on gas prices, nitorgen in tires, 1 yr road hazard on tires and the one I like is the Security Etching($3500) payout if your vehicle not recovered in first 3 years). Let's see I have been driving for 40+ years and never had my vehicle stolen
