CarPlay on iOS 18.2 … any connectivity issue?

My iPhone keep asking me to update to iOS 18.2. I have read there are connectivity issues in other Ford forum. Has anyone experienced any issues?

I’ve had the update from day one and nothing on my side, has actually worked better.

I’ve had zero issues with CarPlay since the car has had a few OTA updates about a month or so ago. Been rock solid ever since. Im also on the latest iOS update

I have issues with CarPLay connecting, but not playing sound. I have to disconnect CarPLay and reconnect. This happens often even though I'm running the most current iOS update.

Mine no longer shows the text message pop up on the screen but I still hear the incoming alert. So I have to go into the phone tab and messages to get it to play now. My truck updated OTA yesterday when I got home so I'll have to check out if maybe that fixed the issue when I drive it next.

Not on a ranger, but my IOS 18.2 won’t let me speak an outbound txt message anymore when connected to multiple different car play units. Tried on my two other cars, Same issue with a “hey Siri, text John“. Get a screen with the correct John, but no Speech to text. Will see if Apple has an update anytime soon.

18.2 here and going on week 2 of the ranger. Ranger has best apple play experience over and beyond a Nissan I had and a 23 f150 tremor. no complaints here!
