Dealer routed Procal Tune cable behind the dash

Hey guys, I'm new here.

Just wondering how easy it would be to get the cable out that the dealer routed behind the dash for the Procal tune. I've tried pulling it through but it seems I'd have to remove either the A pillar panel or the dash itself. Any tips welcome as I don't want to mess up my dash with only 480 miles.

Mine was like thst when the dealer installed it. I just popped off the trim off, amd i think the door rubber, and pulled the wire out

Do they always install it this way? My dealer is telling me it’s an all day service, and want me to drop the truck off for the day.

It won't take all day unless the mess up while flashing the tune and have to replace the ECU

Make sure they don't route the cable behind the dash too.

The only reason they will route the cable thru the dash is so the ProCal mount can mount on your windshield with a suction cup. Dealer did mine that way. The second time the suction cup fell off the windshield and it was dangling around on my dash, I removed it. Of course it only fell off while I was driving. Took me about 45 minutes to take the panels off and remove the cable. Takes about an hour to install the ProCal. Make sure they register the ProCal in your name. Read the installation instructions and you will understand what I’m talking about.
