OK, I like that. How hard was it to hook up?

This install video isn't a Ranger, but at 2:29, simply tapping into the DRL provides a great reference point. I installed an SSC2 Ditch Light Kit on a Ford Bronco Sport this past weekend and tapped into the sidemarker. This allows the backlight to illuminate when the sidemarkers turn on. All you need is a 12V fused source to tap into your preferred power source.

Dumb question but I got ss3 for ditch lights, i used the diode dynamics fuse and relay as a safety precaution, i have the backlight on aux 1 and the regular beam on aux 2. My question is can i also have the fog light backlight to also come on aux one so both fog and ditch light come on for aux 1. I dont see why not

If you're asking if you have multiple backlights on aux 1, yes. It's limited to 5A Total I think but that's plenty for several DRL style lights. My main lightbar DRL/backlight + ditch light DRL + 3 marker lights all tie into the same Aux 1.

Installed my dd3 amber/amber foglights Friday. Love the amber backlighting , but a bit disappointed in brightness. I had the pro amber fog on my 2019 fx4 ranger they were incredible. Lit up the side and up to led headlights range. These are mew... I am going to double check alignment but not sure that will change anything.

Ditto. I have my grill, fog and soon to installed ditchlights backlights to all be on aux #1 .The 19amp mains of the ditch will be on #2

I agree, the @Diode Dynamics fog lights are blah at best!....I've had them on since they were first introduced for the RR and I'm not impressed.....not bright enough for sure.......and yes I'm adjusted them numerous times......oh well......not going to bother to uninstall....
