Do 2024 leather seats need treatments or leather conditioner?

2024 lariat w/ leather seats. For years I've used Bickmore Bick-4 for leather couches, cars, etc. But Ranger leather looks like hybrid fake stuff. Can I use real leather conditioner cream (Bick-4)? I'd prefer to use same stuff on all my items. Or I gotta delve into the myriad of automotive sprays?

PS: my god what has the world come to. There are umpteen choices for treatment sprays. Chemical guys has leather kit w/ 5 bottles of product. I ain't keeping 5 bottles of stuff for Ford leather. Gosh.

I have same truck. I use the standard old armor-all spray. Works like a charm.

The Lariat seats are listed as leather, however the leather used is what remains when the top layer is stripped away to be used for premium leather applications.
The remaining leather is embossed and coated in urethane to provide some semblance of looking like leather. This is how they get away as referring to the Lariat as having leather seating surfaces.
Just wipe the seats down with a damp cloth or an interior detail spray/cleaner or a vinyl protectant.
Leather conditioner wont reach the actual leather.

Edited my post because I might have been mistaken, actual leather may have been available in 2024, in 2025 they're all Active X instead.

My detail shop said not to use leather conditioners that contained lanolin on Ford Active X seats. They use P&S Natural Finish, so that’s what I’ve been using.

The change to activex seat surfaces is for 2026 model year, not 2025.

You may be right, but I could have sworn when I took delivery I was told to use caution conditioning the seats because they were "Active X" not true leather.

I have no way to independently validate this, but just based on hand-feel of the seating in my 2024 Lariat I’d say it seems accurate. I have personally used Meguires Quik Interior Detailer because it has no residue and it seems very mild.

When I got my new truck I decided to try the Nexgen products from Amazon. Been very pleased with the ceramic spray and interior conditioner.

The Meguiiers quick wipes seem to do a perfect job on my Raptor seats every now & again. No residue. Brightens them up & softens the surface just a bit. But mainly keeps the seats clean and looking & smelling good. Plus they’re quick since they’re just like using a baby wipe. Use until they start getting dry & toss. I also do a quick buff with a soft shammy once they flash off & done. Do the whole truck in about 15-20 minutes.

I'm not using anything. The driver's seat on my Lariat has the 'leather' all distended with insufficient support and the left outer edge is clearly going to chafe on the very hard-edged plastic right up against it, and I've sort of resigned myself to the fact that it's crap and is only going to get worse and no amount of conditioner is realistically going to do anything much...
