26 Xlt here. There are treble, mid, and bass adjustments….on the screen, each is a “slider” icon which you can move with Your finger or with a “+“ or “-“.

there Are also settings for sound position reflected with a picture of the inerior…you move the arrows or drag the “dot” on the screen.

also a speed sensing volume adjustment.

and there is a setting for “all seats” or “driver”.

coming recently from a 21 f150 with the standard stereo (I was happy with), I just could not get this system to sound decent with any adjustment. I tried changing out the front tweeters and front door speakers….brightened it up a bit, but still not good.

after adding a powered compact sub that I took out of my previous truck and also changing the EQ settings in Forscan to flat, it’s much improved. There is more presence in the front. The only caveat is that doing that, the “all seats” and “driver” settings are now gone. They were trash anyway IMO.

there are a number of different EQs in Forscan. Default was #1. I went to #0 (off). Not sure what the other ones get you….did not experiment.

Thanks for this info! Were the FORScan settings in the easy mode, or in the more difficult AS BUILT settings? I'm not seeing any instructions in the crowdsourced FORScan excel

Righteous! How difficult was it? I used to swap speakers on early 2000s vehicles all the time but wasn't sure if modern vehicles were more difficult. As simple as popping the door panel off, unplug speakers, pop in new ones?
Bought them from Crutchfield. The come with the correct brackets and plug and play cables for the Ranger. Took me around ten minutes per door.

Was in the “as built”. On the spreadsheet in the ACM, it shows which number/bank to change.

normally I only change the easy stuff, but in this case, I was willing to give it a try.

Oh that is awesome. I will definitely be buying some Kickers from Crutchfield then.
Thanks so much for giving me some confidence!

If I remember correctly you'll need a T20 bit for the door screws (four screws per door).
