That comparison is a point in time - 2025s w/ employee discount + dealer discounts were a deal - at some dealership and for 1-2 months. 2026s were on lots. My 2025 sat for almost a year.

I got $9500 +/- off my Ranger 2.3L w/ a sticker around $52-53k

Those deals aren't out there anymore and makes it disingenuous to use a comparison, IMO.

Sure, good point. These deals are not available throughout the entire year, but likely will be again once 2027s start coming in.

$44,589 plus tax is what I paid. Lariat FX4 with the 2.7, convenience package, sport appearance package, and regular tow package. That's between the dealer discount and 2k Ford rebate.

Comparing to the 2025 Raptor and assuming the price you shared, that's a $14,022 difference. Add tax in WA and it's about $15,500.

I'm not mad about anything - simply staring that I believe there's now a place in the lineup for them to introduce a Tremor between the Lariat selling price and the Raptor selling price. What they advertise is irrelevant to me if they're piling up on lots and can't sell them.
No, actually just because you got a hot deal doesn't mean anything more than you got a hot deal. You getting a good deal doesn't suddenly create a new price point to insert new vehicles, unless you are figuring Ford will suddenly begin selling all non-Raptors below production costs? I've already ready pointed out that on a day to day basis
There’s definitely a place in the lineup for a Tremor. Ford has absolutely demonstrated that globally. The only question is if they will bring it to North America. Which remains to be seen. We should know in the next few months though. Personally I’m hoping they do.
Nope, still want a 5.0 Coyote Lobo myself.

My deal was certainly good, but I'm not alone in getting similar numbers. Like was mentioned above, yes, it's absolutely cherry picking for a specific time of the year.

I don't know the production cost. You don't know the production cost. The dealer doesn't know the production cost. 😉 Ford does, but they won't tell anyone. And frankly, I don't see how it matters.

All we as consumers can find out, with a bit of digging, is what the invoice is. But even that doesn't tell us what kind of kickbacks Ford is giving dealers for certain models and overall kickbacks for hitting a certain unit threshold every month or year.

Anyway, we shall see what happens soon. All I know for sure is it's a real good time to be in the market for a midsize truck with just about everything getting a refresh.

IMO, if a Tremor is introduced, it would have to fit between one of these MSRPs;

XLT FX4 w/2.7 46,800
Lariat FX4 w/2.7 53,530 (+ 6,730)
Raptor, w/3.0 57,665 (+ 2,135)

With only 2,125 separating Lariat FX4 and Raptor base, looks like it would fit between XLT and Lariat.
IIRC, the only thing that makes it a Tremor, is that it comes with a lift and slightly larger tires from factory and maybe decals or special paint schemes.

Would be interesting to see if it gets introduced as a package or trim. And if they increase the Raptor price. Quite a bit of room between it and the Tacoma TRD Pro/Trailhunter.
