Hey everyone…. for those of you looking to lift your RR and plan to put some weight on your truck (canopy, roof top tent, awning, etc), Eibach springs has their new 1000 pound springs coming out soon. Here are pics from my truck that just had them installed. My truck was used as the test truck. Front has 2.3” lift springs and rear has 2.5” lift with no weight and 0” with 1000 pounds. First two pics are with springs and no weight. Last two pics are with 1000 pounds of weight on bed.
What roof rack do you have? Looks great!

How do you like it? How was install and effect on MPG and wind noise?

This is what bought just to confirm.

Love em. Rides exactly like OEM. I have about 350# at all times, 500# loaded up. Picture is right after install, around 310# in the bed.

did you install the spring yourselves or had the local shop do it. if so, how much did it cost and how many hours they charge you? just trying to get more info on average cost to install this as I have no proper tools to do it.

I had my shop do it, Sibi Built in Placentia. I am friends with the owner so I can’t comment on pricing, but expect anywhere from $150 a shock to $300. Anything above $600 is too much.

Domestic Frontrunner Slimsport. It’s great because no drilling into your truck. Straight bolt on installation. Very low profile. Lots of accessories options.
Barely any wind noise and my mpg dropped maybe 1-2 gallons depending on gear loaded.
Install is about a 3/5 in difficulty. Took about 4 hours…. but that’s because I drilled into my trim piece to reuse during install. If you are interested in installing yourself….pm me and I’ll show you which videos to watch to make install simple.

I PM’ed you. What did you drill for if no drill installation?

from what I can see on their website, it says you need to expand to a larger bolt hole from the existing size on the ranger. But maybe that’s not the case?

I checked the Eibach site last week and saw that the new 1000lb springs were finally available, so I pulled the trigger.
I got them installed today, and couldn’t be happier with the results so far. It’s back up to stock height, or maybe even a little higher.
I almost had them install my 2” pucks in the front, but decided to let the new springs settle a little, then I’ll have the lift installed when I get the shocks rebuilt in 12k miles or so. By then it will be about time for new tires again, so I’ll bump up to 35s.
