Found an Extra-Cab XLT out in the wild today (Western Australia). Didn’t even know these existed?? Has anyone else seen an Extra-Cab or Single-Cab running around?

I thought this generation Ranger was only offered in a dual-cab?

Rest of world 6g ranger aka everywhere but the USA gets the regular crew cab (two doors only), the supercab (shown in your pic) and 6ft longbed options for builds.

USA ranger only gets supercrew/dual cab and 5ft bed.

I wish the US could get the automotive options other countries have.

man, a single cab would be great. my 04 ranger is a single cab and it is perfect for a smaller truck being used for more than just a tall car

The one in the photo does not have the plastic rail caps.
I guess they could have taken them off to mount the shell.
I would much rather have a bed without the caps. Much easier to seal covers without.

that shell has a larger lip along the edge and hides the top of the rail. the caps are probably still there, just hidden. similar to how this ARB cap is hiding the rails with the lip that drops down ~1inch further.
