The F150 Lobo looks like a blast: https://www.motortrend.com/reviews/first-drive-2026-ford-f-150-lobo

A Ranger Lobo would be even more fun. The key here, methinks, is the fact that the F150 Lobo is based on the STX trim.

Do the same with the Ranger.
Ford Ranger F150 Lobo should be the formula for Ranger Lobo 1774026562370-1g
Give people a basic truck (STX trim) with cloth seats, add the Raptor turbo V6 and full-time AWD, dress it up with a slightly lower suspension and cool 19” wheels and make bank. Start it as $49k.

Don’t get cute or greedy. Make the Ranger Lobo a starting point for sport truck enthusiasts, not an end point.

Yes, please, but in a smaller package:

There isn’t much nuance here; the Lobo plays into our most primal instincts as enthusiasts. It fires up with a snarl and settles down to a loping burble on idle. Prod the throttle, and the Lobo roars with spitting ferocity, a reminder that this truck is made by the same folks who build the Mustang GT.

Accelerating under full load is supremely entertaining. The thrumming of the engine erupts into a raspy wail. Let loose on a stretch of subterranean freeway with high walls or in an area with tall buildings, and the sound rollicks and echoes to thunderous effect.

Whether you’re driving in two-wheel drive or Ford’s clever automatic four-wheel drive mode, which is intended for on-street performance and is automatically enabled when you turn the drive mode dial to Sport, the Lobo puts the power down with ease.

This could convince me to trade out of my Ranger for this.
