He’s probably comparing the crappier global market version that is out that’s made in Thailand.Pretty much nobody is able to answer that due to no Rangers out yet to compare.

Could explain why he’s on here asking the question.: But they don't have F150's over there.
Yeah I feel you. I guess the size isn't too different between an F150 and the RRaptor due to the Raptor's body kit; I bet it feels sportier than an F150 from the inside. I'm used to driving F150s for work, mostly 2.7 and 3.5 liters. But the v8 F150 is somewhat enticing for the potential to supercharge. Pretty much for 60kish, you can get a v8 XL, supercharge it and put a decent off-roading suspension. It comes close to a Raptor R for almost half the price. I just don't think a supercharged 5 liter will have as much longevity as the turbocharged v6 in the RRaptor, I've heard a lot of stories of Shelby trucks needing constant work performed in their supercharged 5.0 builds.Totally different vehicles. Different size, price point, etc.
Do you want a smaller truck that has raptor capabilities. Or a behemoth sized vehicle with those capabilities and more.
I'm going with the smaller raptor, as the F150 version was just too big for my purposes. Heck, barely fit in my garage. The RRaptor is plenty capable for me and in a much more usable size.
How is the ROW crappier? Or are you referring to the Europe specific power reduction? There is more to the world than Europe and USHe’s probably comparing the crappier global market version that is out that’s made in Thailand.
Less power. Poorer build quality. How is the ROW crappier? Or are you referring to the Europe specific power reduction? There is more to the world than Europe and US
Less power only applies to European models. All other markets have the same power give or take a few HP.Less power. Poorer build quality.
Poorer spec. More expensive.
Plenty of reasons.
I wish I knew. I've been driving a gen2 F150 Raptor for the last 7 years, but the only Ranger I've ever driven was a 1992 that owned nearly 30 years ago. I guess I won't know what it's like to drive a new Ranger until it gets here in April? Can anybody that has driven both give me their thoughts on how they compare? Is a Ranger Raptor worth it over an F150?
