TFL test F150 Raptor vs Ranger Raptor in 1/4, while running 87 octane in the Ranger Raptor

Tfl Fastlane did test between the two and really messed it up. They ran the Ranger Raptor with 87 octane which hurts the performance big time. How do I know this I watched the Fuel MPG test on the Raptor. Because the fuel door has 87 on it that is what Tommy put in it and it shows him doing it in the Video about the gas MPG. You would think a auto site would know something about the vehicles they test, like which Fuel works best with that vehicle. I was like way to handicapp the Ranger Raptor in Test for the 1/4 mile.

Octane effects the Performance greatly in the Ranger Raptor, Carexperts out of Australia did a test about octane using the Ranger Raptor. It was interesting seeing the difference in performance with the different octanes.

Idiots. They should know better. If they want to be a reputable group they'd rerun that with 91 in the Ranger Raptor too.

Purported 0 to 60 times by Ford and other sources:

Raptor R 3.8 seconds
Raptor 5.6 seconds
Ranger Raptor 5.8 seconds

So it's possible the ranger raptor would lose to a regular Raptor, but just by a touch.

In the video of the gas MPG test Tommy was putting in 87 octane and the pumps 87 octane selector was clearly on when he was filling the Ranger Raptor. He even mention the gas filler cap said 87 octane.

But in typical conditions the 5.8 is what has been reported to be the time for our trucks.

I'd run with this until some more legit sources come up with consistent times below it.

same. the video when their 24 tacoma broke while offroading really made it clear how clueless the TFL guys are.

but i still watch them because they put out a lot of pretty decent videos.
