they will be tracking you while you drive. watching your eyes and how you control the vehicle. not just popping up a picture of a coffee and saying take a break, sending everything to the gov to stop your vehicle, set speed limiters, adjust your insurance rates, and control everything you do in your vehicle

The article says the cameras are IR… sunglasses won’t save you!

If they are infrared just cut a sheet of clear plexiglass and put it over the display. You can look through it, but it would block or diffuse any heat the camera might detect.

Not likely. Most likely it will take a non factory installed ECU that has the factory programming installed, then the spying software portions overwritten. Similar to what goosetuned is doing for their tunes but for the spyware, not performance minded per se.
