well yes, I was scheduled for the week of February 26, I called on Monday to see if there was any further information and the gentleman in customer relations said let me check, I was wondering how certain or not the truck would be built that week, he came back on and said we have a build day of February 27 and that means all the parts that are needed are in stock, and available for the build date of February 27, but I don’t know I don’t work for Ford, but he does.
he sounded like an experienced knowledgeable guy as opposed to some very young customer service person.
I was basically told the same. Contacted Ford and was told build “day” 02/13 and all parts were there. My build week is 02/12. Who knows anymore. As long as mine gets built it really doesn’t matter to me which day. As long as it’s not a Monday morning or a Friday afternoon 😂

My dealership just texted me and told me my Ranger Raptor is scheduled to be build on the 26th of February. Fingers crossed nothing happens. Little soon then the estimated time of March.
That’s the same build week for my Lariat 🤞

My 2024 Ranger Lariat was ordered the 29th of May last year. Yes I have an order and VIN #. The build date slipped six different times. Yes there was a strike that certainly impacted production and yet I was hopeful each time it slipped I would receive the truck maybe in January. The build date was set for January 8th and the Ranger is in and has been in production since, yes, January 11th and it is now February 1st.

I did contact the dealership and here is what Ford said when he reached out for information.

Ford - “The 24MY Ranger has not achieved Okay To Buy (OKTB) yet, meaning Ford has not authorized the sale of these units to dealers and customers. The Michigan Assembly Plant is reviewing early production units for potential quality errors. This causes units, like the referenced VIN, to be put on “Quality Hold”, when in reality, there is most likely nothing wrong with the unit and it is just being prepped for final delivery to your dealership.

The delay on Ranger has been extended due to the striking of the plants late last year and preventative quality holds to ensure the vehicles are not shipped with poor quality.”

My thought is that it is sitting in a lot awaiting that final inspection but I have little hope it will be here in February. So tell me what you think? BTW I know how many miles are on the odometer and how much gas is in the tank and what the tire pressure is because my dealership could look at those stats from my VIN #. Oh yeah it is in a lot somewhere I am certain.
If it is in the lot somewhere try connecting to it with the FordPass App. I think thats what your dealer did if they know how much fuel is in it, tire pressure and so forth. I know mines not built yet so my app just tells me no connectivity.

FordPass app can't really connect until the dealer activates it after purchase. My app shows the truck with an activate button, but says I can't activate it until I "take delivery."

Didn't know that thought it "activated" when it was built. Like the RAM's guys were looking at their GPS with 1000's of miles on them cause they were activated at factory then shipped to wherever and the GPS recorded it all.

Rangers are slated to start shipping in March. If you’re curious to learn more, there are numerous posts on this forum about it lately.

yes that would be the week of Feb 26, same week as I have, but big news yesterday!
The customer Relations Agent informed me that my actual build day assigned is Feb 27,
and that is the day t will be built. She also advised me that all parts are reserved for the build on that day, it will not be pushed out to another date, that is so reassuring since my truck includes the chrome package and there has been very limited availability of the chrome package and that has been causing chrome package vehicles to not get build dates.
I have purchased dozens and dozens of cars and trucks in my life and only ordered a handfull which includes my 2023 Ranger, can't believe how consumed I am in this process, is it because ford has created "you want it well you have to wait" usually I decide make model color and just go and find it, I ordered this 24 just after getting my 23, same color same truck just 1 year newer and $10,000 price increase, how bright is that?
This is F__en crazy, 2 days ago my order got pushed further out and now again today, this makes 4 times that my Lariat has been pushed out further, I have now gone from Feb 26, to Feb 28, to now April 8, it seems if they just concentrated to assembling trucks instead of pushing orders further out there might just be some ion the stores. I have a F150 also on order and that got pushed out for the 2 nd time. absolute insanity, and the insane part is we just bend over, I guess I will gi=ve serious thought which brand I will buy other than ford.
