Hi together ,
Due to an EU regulation, vehicles in Germany and other countries have to play a sound if you exceed the maximum speed limit and that from 1km / h too much.
This annoys me, especially that there is a possibility to provide this with a tolerance in the TSR.
I have already been able to make this visible in the APIM, but it has to be coded via the IPC.
Can any of you help me to switch this off?

I deleted my last comments as you should just be able to go to the IPC non-as built and disable

It may not work if it's due to regulations in your country though.

I have already tried exactly that, but nothing works...
So it should go over IPC as built...

There is something called "India overspeed warning".. tried that?

But it’s really so simple. Just drive at the exact speed limit. Or let the ACC handle it.


I have personally witnessed a five-year-old child getting hit and killed. The driver was going 15 km/h too fast, and the child ran after a ball. Had the driver been going the correct speed, they would have had enough time to brake.

In short: I have absolutely no understanding for complaints about this function.

Have you confirmed the factory speed limiter has changed? I tried this setting months ago, but my raptor still limited at 107.

I have not been out of town to try it yet. I rarely go so who knows when i could even try

Well, since its raining, i figured i would sit in the truck and play with forscan.

Turned on sand and rock/crawl mode in my 2wd xl truck. Cool back ground on the cluster when choosing the setting.

there is a ton of options under the splash screen choice on forscan, though not specific to the ranger other then the ranger one we already have. a long list of all the ford models but i didn't try them, though i thought about it. i was going to change the focus st one since the truck is tuned and then i thought about hte focus rs since that has the the 2.3 but i decided the splash screen already has the same color truck i have so might as well stay with it.... but, there is a lot of choices if you wish try them out

I tried them all and none of them seemed to change anything. I always get the exact same animation.

Its the same button that lets me choose sport, eco, alippery, normal. It just gave me more options

How to change the one on the cluster? I could not find it.
