Has anyone been able to find where to keep the A/C from coming on automatically? The Advanced Window Defroster Something Something Something? I know there has been discussion and I think someone found out where to edit it, I just can't find it.

Look in the 733-01-02 section for humidity sensor settings, and whatever your setting is, change it to the listed setting that sets the humidity sensor to NOT present.

I activated Sport mode on my ranger xlt v6 2025 using forscan as follows:
1. Enter ABS module and search for SDM
2. For SDM - ABS disable it
SDM - Mode 11 (Sport).
It worked, but sometimes it is not possible to select any mode other than normal.
A few minutes after trying to choose a mode other than normal, the following message "Driving mode preconditions not met" appears - and the mode is not changed.
I can only select the mode after turning the car off and on again.
Has this ever happened to anyone? how to solve?

Apologies that this is not a helpful post - more a selfish one unfortunately...

Two things that I'd like to crack with FORScan:

  • Trail turn assist on the Ranger Raptor
    • I have attempted to enable this using settings I found looking at F150 FORScan information and by poking about in FORScan myself however I was only ever able to get it to come up in the UI (off-road screen) but when I try to activate it I get a message like "Feature not available" (can't quite remember the exact message).
    • This feature should be able to be enabled on the RR given that it is available on the Tremor edition (in Aus.).
  • Headlight control of the auxiliary switches:
    • In Aus delivered vehicles (I presume it is the same in NA and ROW), when aux switches 5 and 6 are in the enabled position (the overhead switches) the auxiliary lighting outputs automatically come on when the headlights automatically switch to high-beam.
    • This is both annoying and a problem. It is a problem as the sensitivity of the auto high-beam is such that it turns on high-beam way too early and way too late for decent driving lights so you end up blinding on-coming traffic. (in Aus. it is very normal and legal to use powerful driving lights on country roads).
    • I would love to find a way to disable the connection between auto high-beam and the aux switches - and only enable the aux switches when the high-beam stalk is physically pushed forward.
    • I realise that you can disable auto high-beam but then you loose the advantage of having auto high-beam and the very big advantage of the matrix LED adaptive lighting.
Apologies for the rant... keen to hear other's views.

I think I got this figured out and wanted to share my process for others looking to do the same.

I looked in the 733-01-02 and as you can see below, the digit I need change is a 0. A zero in the FORscan sheet means that none of the listed sensors are present.

Changing the listed value to 'D' would enable all the sensors except the humidity sensor. However, if none of the sensors are present, I shouldn't have the A/C come on by itself. Hmmm...

So poked around on the non-ASBUILT and looked for the humidity sensor there. It showed that the 'Humidity sensor type' was 'Windshield mounted'. I changed that to 'Not Present' and wrote the changes.

Happy to report that I took it for a little spin and got nothing by sweet, sweet ambient outside air coming out of the vents. Okay, it wasn't that sweet. It's like 92 degrees today, but the A/C did not kick on until I turned it on. The biggest test will be in the mornings when it's a little cooler and more humid. I'll update later.

completely disabled, or just default to off?
I am not interested in completely disabling it, but I do like the idea of it defaulting to off, rather than on.

Thanks for confirming this. I thought for sure I had tried it and it didn't work, but went ahead and tried again, and can say that this completely deactivates the feature. Spreadsheet has been updated on the Confirmed tab.

There is an APIM setting for Auto Start Stop. I have not tried it, but -maybe- that enables an option in the center screen to allow for turning on and off. Would be nice if it could just be defaulted off rather than on, but I see no such setting for that.

Well for me I spoke too soon. Feature still works as designed but now nothing displays on the cluster. The button still deactivates it So this does NOT work

Is there anything in there that will turn on one touch windows for the rear doors on the raptor? They should be able to be activated since remote open and close works. At least that's how remember it used to be with Ford... for remote open to work, all windows need one touch. It's the one feature left (off) that's actually bothering me.
