Not sure if you got cheated or rewarded. The stock tray is an insult to center console trays. The Amazon ones are probably the best upgrade yet.
What in the name of center console tray amazingness is that?! Now I will have to be on the lookout for a center console extension collar - no more than 8 - 12 inches high. Then I will try to find/fabricate a 5-layer console tray. I will be the envy of the nation wide console community.Found another that has two trays, upper and lower;

I have this tray set and it fits perfectly. I keep a charging cord plugged in so it can be a bit bothersome getting below the lower tray. They're sturdy enough so I'll be notching out the corners at the access holes so that I can remove either or both trays more easily.Found another that has two trays, upper and lower;

How much room below the bottom tray - or does the bottom tray sit flat on the bottom of the console bin ?
Lone Ranger, the distance between the bottom of the lower tray and the floor of the well is right at 3½". Keep in mind the usable space in the lower tray is minimal...think ink pens, etc.
How shallow can you make it? Wanted to get something to put over center console safe. Thank you!This is a great addition to the truck. The only thing I didn't like was the hole that's provided so you can still use the 12v socket. I'm working on prototypes to print a plug for it. This is what I've got so far. Once I get the shape and little ledges dialed, I can work on making it useful. Little bin for small parts, put some holes in it for golf tees, etc.
Won’t work with a console safe.??
Oh, I didn't make the tray, just the plug for the hole. I haven't seen anything on the market hat would fit over the safe.
