Hi All - picked up my RR last December after lurking here for a year and learning about the truck. All of your posts were super helpful in my decision to buy, and continue to help as I upgrade.

My question is regarding the Foutz rear lower arm frame guards. I banged my lower arm up slightly and lost the plastic cover while on 2N17X out to Arrowhead via 3N34 & 2N29Y, so now am looking for a little protection. I already have the buckle-up sensor guards and it looks like there will not be any interference with those. Anyone have these or heard of anything good/bad about them? And, if there are any other alternatives you can suggest, that would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers 🍻

I’m running these and have punished them in Moab and other trails in southern Utah and Nevada. They slide right over obstacles and seem to be holding up well. The plastic slides do get scratched up, but that’s what they are for. Between these, their rear differential skid and a complete set of Rival skid plates, I don’t worry about anything when crawling trails in the 6-7 range on OnX.

Hi all just a note when having the Foutz differential protector on, the Rival Tank guard will interfere with it during installation - i had to grind some stuff off, and now i found out it will bend the back left corner of the tank guard down when in rough terrain. i will have to take some material off the tank guard back left (looking from the front) https://www.ranger6g.com/forum/thre...ctory-steel-fx4-skid-plates.16531/post-246724

Hello again All.

Following-up on my original post requesting info on the Foutz rear lower arm frame guards, I did wind up making the purchase and installing. Big thanks to Nate.Co for his install tips here: https://www.ranger6g.com/forum/thre...ers-and-tie-rods-goat-spacers-35-tires.25357/. Adding to Nate's installation comments, I found that a reciprocating saw was the best tool for cutting the flags.

As far as how they have held up, I have attached photos of both the drivers & passenger side guards after one run at White Mountain in Big Bear. You can see that the driver's side had an easy day but the passenger side took a beating. I reached out to Foutz to see if they would sell the slide material separately and it sounds like they are indeed getting ready to make that part available, thankfully. Once I have more info on these, I will update this thread.

Cheers 🍻
