Ok, so had my 2019 Wildtrak for about 6 months, primarily used to and from work and the odd parts run (I own an independent BMW repairers)

Came from a 2018 transit custom limited.

Found the Ranger a bit "agricultural" compared to the transit tbh, particularly in the ride/nvh areas. BUT stuck with it. Never got to live the colour (sea grey) and grey is my favorite vehicle colour.

Anyway, decided to treat myself on Monday, and less than 48brs later, I am the proud new owner of a 24 plate V6 Wildtrak 😁

Not sure of the colour yet, somewhere between silver and grey. Picked the best equipped one I could find. Has wireless charging/AA, aux switches, 360 cameras, adaptive cruise, towing pack and quite a few "option packs" apparently. I would love to be able to find the exact spec, but all the "vin check" sites seem to not work on UK vins.

Anyway...

Bloody hell! It's night AND day different in every way, and better in all of them..

Quiet, smooth and refined (praise indeed from me as my "other" car is a 2024 BMW iX M60!

Still getting to grips with it after only 5hrs and 20 miles or so, but is it me, or is it actually taller, wider and longer than the 2019 version?

Also,. does anyone know if the keys "go to sleep" when not moved, to prevent relay theft? It's having a Ghost fitted in a couple of days, but would like to know.

Pic attached in case anyone can tell me the colour?

Thanks

Mike

Let us know how the install goes. I've never heard of these systems. Do installing them void warranty?

Warranty should be fine as no wiring is cut at all, if they are installed correctly.

We fit them at my place. Really easy, live and earth, plus canbus high and low.

The unit is approx 15mm wide x 40mm long and 3mm thick, so can easily be hidden almost anywhere in the vehicle strapped to the loom with matching tape. They can be fitted pretty much anywhere there is canbus and power.

I always use mine via the app/Bluetooth, so nothing to press and you wouldn't know it was even there.
