Not necessarily, it’s a balance. But on poor quality fuel then that is correct.

I’m actually on the Dyno right now with a bronco raptor and the fuel is not great, again (ACN). This is in Arizona though, so it has to be expected.

I’m going to see if we can tune this on 93, that way you guys can have a good representation of how 93 runs.

Well, here are my findings!

The 2024 Ranger Raptor picked up some excellent power!

Fuel: 91
Mods: COBB intercooler
Tuning: HPTuners


STOCK Power Output: 353whp 391wtq
Tuned Power Output: 461whp 482wtq

That's a gain of 108whp 91wtq!!!! Huge gains!


These trucks will absolutely pick up power on an intake! There is a restriction there (also Bronco Raptor). I'd imagine another 15-20hp gained with one.

Shout out to SDHQ in AZ for hosting and connecting me with this customer. He's been asking me to tune his Raptors for months. I recently tuned his Bronco Raptor as well, he's a GREAT guy! But that's another post in the Bronco forum, and another vlog :sunglasses:

No, I don't believe any aftermarket company offers a real warranty.

If I started at 200hp and end at 333hp, it’s +133hp.

If I start at 500hp and end at 633hp, it’s +133hp

If procal starts at 350 and ends at 401hp, procal = ?……+51hp

Gains are gains.

Why not just use the SAE correction factor? Ford performance post their numbers, as do most others, using the SAE. not STD.

My buddy has a goosetuned raptor and said it made a huge difference versus when it was Hennessey tuned

STD inflates the numbers. Most people only look at the max numbers. Let’s say the ford performance tune is 455hp. SAE, You show say

but why not just use the SAE correction factor? Most people don’t know the difference. And when they look at the ford performance tune they see those advertised numbers in SAE and yours in STD and may not even notice it. You’re using the dated STD factor.
I know you make more power with your tune, I’m not trying to be a dick, I’m just asking why not SAE?
