Mine has been doing it almost daily for the last few weeks.

Would using ForScan to clear the adaptive shifting tables help?
I think that would likely help, but what seemed to help mine was to drive around in Eco mode for a couple of days and going easy on the accelerator. That seemed to tame the adaptive leaning so that normal mode had less pronounced shifts.

This all sounds eerily similar to the issue people with GM 10-speeds are complaining about. I wonder if Ford is using the same junk valve bodies that GM is using to try and save a few pennies?

We have a bunch of F350 work trucks that started getting harsh shifting .
Dealer would reload the software and turn off self learning .

2024 Lariat 4x4 owner, 2.7L V6. 5200 miles on it. I've had a few instances of what I'd describe as "clunky" downshifts, I think always from 3-2, and always in Sport mode. It's noticeable because normally this thing shifts like butter, but these instances were not butter, but not bad either. Just noticeable. However, today I was on a city street with lots of stops/goes, so I put it in Sport. Coming up to the next red light the shift from 3-2 felt like I hit a big pothole or ran over something. It was ROUGH. Seems to be pretty similar to what others on this thread have reported.

Has anyone found out definitively? I doubt mine is still "learning" with 5200 miles on it and no resets.

I'm experiencing a delay shifting from park to drive and the downshifts 4-3 and 3-2 are harsh. THUD! I'm watching the temp of the tranny and it's obviously f'in cold here in Maine. Goes away when it's warmed up. I'm positive mine is related to temp. But... it can't be healthy for the tranny. Brought it to the stealer. Can't duplicate. No codes. Reset the learning. No changes. Should I be concerned?

I just hit 10k mi last month and haven't noticed the clunky shifting quite as much. Though, I've been in normal mode more than sport more often now. I do feel the shift can sometimes be a bit rough from 5-6 in normal, but not as clunky as what I felt when it downshifted hard from 2-1 in sport.
