"What did you get in the mail today? " is of the most popular 5g threads. We don't have one so here goes.
I got BUCKED!
Snail mail from my dealer today was simply a printout of their "DailyStatus" of orders from the Ford Division. It's a page full of their order status on all vehicles, I assume...Odd that they only show 1 Ranger (mine) but 6 Mavs, all Retail! My VIN # is correct on the sheet bc I got my window sticker already via this forum. Schedule date also jives with my online order status as 01/08. But under Status it says BUCKED. DLR ETA is 0129 which sounds good. But what the heck does BUCKED mean? Ford plant lingo, or did they misspell it, and am I screwed?
HELP Ford gurus!
In the meantime I'm trying to search all possible best prices on Pepper, my 2019 XLT....

I think it’s means it’s headed down the production line. Thought I read that awhile back

Doesn't mean it's headed down the line yet, but that the parts for the order are available and ready to go, and a spot on the line has been reserved.

I learned all this when waiting for my GT350. The wait is excruciating!

Is your ETA still 1/29? Sounds like @allterrainnation said in another post that they aren't going to ship out until March now.

Well my order tracker still says In Production, but today my sales manager said it's finished, and could arrive 1/29...or tomorrow. Based on his experience with past deliveries and "accuracy" of Ford's tracking system. We'll see. Whoever said March is probably smoking something!
