How do I replace a side mirror?

Homeless man punched my mirror at 1:00 in the morning. Not sure how to replace it. Does a mirror just snap into place? It still moves in all directions from the inside controls, just the mirror itself is cracked.

If they are the same as the f150 they do pop off the ballin the mirror, that said not sure if they are the same design.

That sucks man. I broke the drivers side on my 2019 lariat with BLIS, it was 1 year into the new models. That piece cost me $400+. As @ShadowDragon24 shows on the shop manual, the mirror piece does pop off.
