Considering the PHEV since long, but I am not sold yet..

it is highly dependent on your driving habits…if I drive on flat terrain like Finland, not towing, not loading, at 25mph average, I can get to 30-32mpg with my V6 diesel…

but the minute I tow 3 tons or load 600kg of hay on the truck and drive me hilly/mountain surrounding, I am just using the 2.3 gas and that will be thirsty and slow..

by hey, I am more than interested in buying your continental :) I have them on now and they are splendid for mix paved and gravel

I would say that for towing diesel is hands down the best choice. Then again the hybrid system is perfect for hilly roads, as you can use the electric boost for climbing and get the regen on downhills.

Had some trouble this morning as it was raining icy snow during the night, and my charging port door was covered in ice and wouldn't close. Had to melt it down with warm water, and not its frozen solid. Will have to take the wife's car out of the garage and melt the Ranger in the garage.

Let Kimi Räikkönen drive it and I bet he could the fuel numbers down.
