I installed grill lights and now my front camera doesn’t work.

I finally got an open weekend and decided to install the Signature Lux DRLs and grill lights.

After reattaching the grill and running the grill light wires, I took my truck out for a drive and realized the front camera is no longer working.

The camera cable looks like it’s attached correctly, but maybe I messed it up somehow. Either that, or I messed up a fuse or something when I put in the fuse tap.

To be honest, I couldn’t find an accurate fuse diagram so I found a random 10 amp that was by itself and used that, though I don’t know if my tap was plugged in the right direction. Regardless, after plugging back in just the 10 amp, the front camera still didn’t work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Update, the camera came back after disconnecting and reconnecting.

But, does anyone know what fuse that is or what orientation my tap should be facing? Should I have it like in this picture, or reverse it?

Orientation. If less are powered AND fuse is working tested with the multimeter, you're good.

If anyone is wondering, the orientation in the above picture is correct. However, I still have no idea what fuse that 10amp is that I’m tapping into. If anyone knows, please let me know.

just tap into the provided blunt cut marker light wire in the cab, under the bcm/trm behind the driver kick panel. there are 3 wires. a ignition wire, a high beam trigger, and a marker light trigger.

they cant power big lights, and things but I use the marker trigger to power my grill lights, the back lighting on my fog lights, and my Diode Dynamics D-Switch backlighting/night mode. the highbeam trigger is gone into the dswitch to automatically turn on my lightbar with my highbeams. and the ignition wire turns on and off my dswitch(besides still being manually able to use it with the truck off)

but, you are ok with that 10a fuse slot. it asks for a 10 and if you had the wrong one, the lights would stay on all the time if that slot was hot when key off slot
