I mean, maybe it does still mean that. When my truck arrived, the shifter cable was binding and they had to fix it before I signed for it. It was frustrating because I knew it was pulled aside for a QC hold, and it had 10 miles on it so it seemed like they drove it around to diagnose it at the plant, yet it still shipped it with a defect.Very true dude. I'll probably check one more time at delivery for the hell of it but otherwise just forget about it
Guess only thing that worried me is I had read it was a tag assigned when final QC is complete. Hope it doesn't mean they forgot to do any checks![]()
Props to my dealership for catching it (they felt it when unloading it), and putting it at the front of the line at the service department. The issue was a simple fix that took a morning to do once they got the part in the next day. I do wonder, though, if the missing tear tag is related to how it was able to ship out like that.
Since I took it home, everything has seemed fine. Knock on wood!
