I didn't know that, but it doesn't really matter (although that fact was not disclosed by the broker.). What matters are the total cost and the service for the same coverage. I had Progressive for a while. It was cheaper than State Farm, but I had flying road debris smash my windshield and dent the A pillar. Their telephone claims person was so overworked that getting the car repaired in a timely manner was a nightmare. I fear that Safeco would be a similar experience.Just so you know, Safeco and Liberty Mutual are the company. Just like Farmers and Bristol west.
