I swear it's gotten more and more whiney. Like a strained electronic motor. Or maybe I was just blasting music? 😅

Do you guys' power rear windows make this whining noise too?

Wow, that big slider is nothing like my rear window power porthole...
Oh and mine is almost dead silent.

No it's electric but it's barely audible. And it's tiny.

I just went out and looked. From the inside it probably does look like yours. But when it's open the opening is really small. From the outside it looks tiny...

But yeah, mine makes almost no noise. If the truck is running and the stereo is on you'd never hear it.

Thanks for taking a gander for me! So even if the truck is off and you stick your head back, and open and close the window, no whine? Wonder why mine is so noisy ...

Tried lubricating the track and seals but didn't do anything

The grease chanel for gear cylinder swith is closed causing your small window electric motor to sound like a small electric motor, this may cause your engine to over pressure and explode. See dealership mechanic.... This dude is the vehicle version of hypochondriac worried that everything is wrong with his vehicle. Or a purposeful troll. What's next... a post timing your tailgate drop because you think it is too fast or too slow?

The motor in mine is silent but it's still mechanical and it's going to make a little bit of noise as it slides across It's track and when it reaches the end of the opening in both directions.

Yikes. No need for name calling. I've had my fair share of issues with new products, from cars to appliances to guns - you name it. I've grown skeptical of QC and always like to get ahead of problems!

That's why I asked if it was normal, that's all.
