Why not ventilated? I have no problems with the stock RR seats, except I HATE that they are so darn hot and sweaty. But maybe it doesn’t ever get warm in the Yukon?

I hear ya, but Moving to the Katzkin Heated\cooled seats means you lose the ability to control them from the truck and it goes to a manual switch, I can tell you there are a helluva lot more -40 days when you need to have the heated seats come on up here than there are days you wish you had cooled seats.

Also, while the perforated leather looks great, it's a pain to clean and can snag.

Main reason I got them was for the durability upgrade and the more personalized look

The Katzkins are 100% leather, no vinyl, spandex or suede anywhere, and feel much batter than stock

How many $? For the Katskins.

Installed price was $3000 Canadian ($2100 USD)

It is an option, but I chose not to get it

Yes!
I've almost did the Kats just for cooled seats. Once you've gotten used to them it's hard to go back. Had to drive my father n laws old farm truck the other day with the crushed velvet or velour whatever it is seats, no a/c, felt like bigfoot was hugging me (smelled like it too).
