Lights where the two faux vents are

I am sure it has been done but not finding any info. Has anyone cut out the fake vents and put lights in the opening?

Theres a guy on Facebook Ranger page that did two flush mounts there. I'll see if I can find a photo. I mounted two lights on the inner area there (either side of the sensor), on a non Raptor Ranger.

i looked into this and there was a lot more cutting involved than i liked because there is a decent amount of material behind them. But as previously said, there are people that have done it.

I added Amber lights here on mine. Originally I did them to the aux switch then changed them to run with my DRL.

Not those but that looks cool. Where'd you get the kit for that? I think i saw F150LEDs had kits for that.

Thank you. I got them from F150LEDS. Really nice lights, I took that photo during the day and you can see them pretty well. As far as the ones on the hood, I have not seen lights for those yet. I've had my RR for about 3 weeks now.

those are functional vent tho, not fake vents.

Mine on my 2026 Raptor Ranger are faux vents completely sealed. There's a plastic welded clip on the backside that I removed so I could install the lights into the pocket that removing the clip allowed me to create. No airflow could exchange through these.

My 25 XLT they are functional. The hole behind the vent is the carpet fender liner. but the vents go all the way through
