Any updates? Been considering buying this with all the points I have.
I'm not sure what needs updated. If you use your points on the ford accessories page, you'll get the cover for the '24 truck. It's what I have on mine and it fits fine. VR1WZ99501A42M
The seal against the top of the tailgate could be better, but otherwise it fits exactly right.

If you don't buy from the Ford Accessories with points, Realtruck owns Retrax, so this one fits the '24. For what it's worth, Realtruck is throwing in free cross bars with a purchase until June 3rd.

The Embark cover is a Retrax and Realtruck makes both. Other sites I've looked at when shopping seem to think the '24 Ranger is the same as the '19-'23. If they have the same part number for both, I'm going to assume it's wrong. eTrailer.com, who I generally like, doesn't seem to have any '24 parts, but list a whole bunch of stiff for the 5G as fitting. I doubt it will.

You can get the Ford version cheaper. There's a 25% off coupon code that'll show up if you check your points balance in the Fordpass app. Even if there is no coupon there, most months there's a 15% off coupon running at the top of the page. Most Ford accessories seem to be marked up to make the discount moot, but the Ford Retrax costs a little less even before the discount.

Didn't realize they had the 25% off. Pulled the trigger and bought it.

Ford Parts sent me the Embark cover and I personally installed it (I am a decent shade tree mechanic and even worked on a Ford assembly line back in the day) since I wanted to make sure it was installed properly and did not want to rush the work. I can say this fits slightly better than the one installed in Indiana (this unit appears to only be 1” short vs the 2” short the first one was). Notes on the installed Embark tonneau cover:
1. Install was fairly easy and all the components were simple to assemble (this is actually a Retrax cover with a Ford logo on it - I also had points and a 25% discount code).
2. The new Embark cover does NOT fit properly, IMO, with it being shifted to the back of the truck bed bulkhead (I moved the rubber gasket to the back of the bulkhead and the rear portion of the cover is still about 1/2” short of sealing to the back of the tailgate).
3. As the Embark cover currently sits on the truck it looks great, but I expect it will leak significantly while driving in the rain. Admittedly the tailgate of the truck on the sides is not waterproof but any rain while moving will definitely go into the truck bed due to the gap.
4. The front is secured (it may still leak since I moved it back over an 1” of what it showed in the instructions) and both sides of the cover are very secure however I can easily place my hand under the cover in the back since there is absolutely no functional seal and frankly the cover is flexible even though it’s made of aluminum (I’m sure I could easily pull it up and gain entry to the bed if I tried).
5. It was too late for me to contact Ford Parts Friday night after I completed the install, but I will try to contact them Monday to get their thoughts on the matter. I can see a number of fixes, however Ford should already be aware of this issue and provided the necessary modifications so customers don’t need to solve this themselves.

I will try to post some photos of my install in the next 24 hours. It looks great but I don’t think the current version of the Embark cover has all the bugs out yet.

Does anyone know of any way to get a trigger for the high beams? It is can bus so can't find a 12V wire to tap into for a relay. I have a Lariat, so no Aux switch to tap into either.

Does anyone know if there is a can bus module available for the Lariats?

I would think that it would also fit the Lariat and XLT - no?
Unfortunately, it won’t fit anything except the RR. It uses coil springs in the rear. Other trims use leaf springs. The 35 gallon tank is for coil spring fitment only.

I don't think those fit the standard trucks because of the leaf springs.

Still waiting for AVS Bugflector 2 to become available - RR in production so have some? time.
I had some rock chips on the hood of my 2019 Ranger, so when I bought my 2024 Ranger Raptor, I new that I had to do something to prevent that damage, or minimize it as much as I could. My main problem was that I hated the way the bug deflectors looked. When I went to have my front windows tinted, my local shop told me about the benefits of Paint Protective Film (PPF). The shop was factory certified by XPEL, and the film had a ten year warranty. I had them install the film on the entire hood and the painted portion of the front grill. The clear film is invisible; you don’t even know it’s there, but it will prevent the rock chips and other minor damage. I believe the PPf looks a lot better than a bug deflector, and does a much better job of preventing damage. I’m very happy with the installation and would highly recommend the PPF to anyone looking for a way to take better care of their vehicle.
