My dealer is telling me that I will get the $1000 for special ordering.
That's good news!
Could you perhaps provide us with a bit of information about this Rebate.
What is Ford calling it, specifically; so that we can ask for the same from our Dealers.
Thanks.

He said my “certificate” showed up and I asked what he meant and he confirmed that it was for the 1k. I will update you once I go to the dealership to pick up the truck.

Here’s a few more pics of anyone is interested. I am glad to see that the securicode panel is body color.

Just noticed...no "Ecoboost" badge on the tailgate...first de-contenting on the 6g, saved 10 cents! What's next, delete 2 bed tie-downs like the 5g?🤣🤣🤣

That ship sailed in 2019. I don't think even the 2020 Rangers had that badge on the tailgate. It does look like the 5G deleted engine cover will work no problem with the 6g though. I'll try mine out if my 6G ever ships.

I actually checked this on the 24 ranger at the KC car show. 6 tie downs were present

John, I'm hoping for hood struts, my 2019 has them but Ford deleted them on later models...hate that hood prop!

Yeah, I've seen some mods to add hood struts. The old 2006 Sonata I had included them.

I didn't look specifically, but when I opened the hood on the show 2024, I don't recall dealing with a hood prop. But it is a pre preduction model, plus they may have added a strut system on the show versions to keep fools from damaging heads/hoods...lol

But the strut systems are easy to add....had to do that for my 07 gt500

just unplug the small wire jack on the the neg battery post, I did that on my 22 and worked like a charm, did not affect anything else.
Man I hope these are that easy!

I actually prefer the hood prop. It rarely fails, but the gas pressurized spring/struts need to be replace periodically. At least that is my experience with gas springs.

Yes absolutely just that easy. thats what I did on my 22, my 23 did not even have the start stop feature. for years the dealers have been telling us that there is no way to disable the start stop as the car truck or whatever because the CAFE gas mileage was tested and reported on the sticker with the start stop activated, and then just like that they eliminated it when it suited fords purpose.

I’ve seen some including mine had the start stop removal listed on the pizza tracker page I hope we don’t but the ones showing up so far have it. Hopefully the ‘24’s will have the same wire on the battery terminal to get rid of it easy

Mine had the same stop start removal on the tracker page but alas, it was not to be. I guess its not too big of a deal hitting the button to cancel each time you put the key in
