ord never does any incentives on Raptors unfortunately. Back in 24 when production was slow 10 or 5 ADM was fine, but now a days, the only people paying that are just lazy. You can easily find RRs at MSRP all day.

The Hot pepper Red was only in the 24 models. I assume red will come back when they do the next refresh. I dont see them refreshing this for another 2 years minimum though since its a global platform.
That may be true where you live, but around me all but one of the 7 Ford dealerships charge ADM on anything that says Raptor. Captive market I guess.
Red is already back for 2025, at least in the non-Raptors, so Ford could have offered Ruby Red in the 2025 Raptors as well. Back in the day Ford, and MOPAR, used to have the best color palettes around. Now it seems to be mostly black, white, and different tinted variations of gray with one or two different reds occasionally. Love for Ford to bring back the reds, oranges, yellows, purples and greens of yesteryear.

and now, for a few years at least, they charge more for colors. 500 dollars on some

I’ve only seen 3 other Ranger Raptors in my area in over one year of ownership.
I just did an AutoTrader search in a 100 mile radius (Kent Wa) and get only 7 trucks - all 2024s and they are asking more than I paid for mine new.
Also - zero issues in 8k miles.
I have seen 3 as well

Yeah, but theres no reason to buy a car from a dealer near you, its pretty trivial to purchase out of state to do so. The colors are bland because people only buy bland colors. Lot of studies done on that.

There's only a couple of colors you DON'T pay for any more. Star White Metallic Tri-Coat on an F 150 is $995, as it the Azure Gray Metallic Tri-coat on the Ranger. And there's not nearly as much to paint on the Ranger...

I got a discount on mine that neither I nor the sales manager knew was coming.

I'm not sure why, but there was indeed some manner of discount available. Then again, I didn't order it; I just bought it off the lot.

So many people drastically overbuy what they actually need. Yeah Raptor's look cool, but the price and horrendous gas mileage isn't worth it if you're not Baja racing and just driving on pavement 99% of the time.

I bought my Raptor because I liked it and was not worried about the gas mileage. Love the truck it's the best I have ever had. Like TFL's Andre said best pickup they have ever bought. If Ford comes out with a Rudy Red one for 2026, I will be trading that's my favorite color. Those color surveys must be same ones that predicted the presidential races. I think people are growing tired of all these grays. The only real reason they push the grays is because of the price, it's the cheapest paint color.

I want a pick up with 4A. If they offered it on a lower trim- I'd buy it.

I'm part of the problem.

I'll never grow weary of a vast selection of grays and silvers. 🤣

i wrote out a list of things i wanted and things i needed and picked a truck that met what i needed. 32k and i was driving an stx 2 wheel drive ranger and am as happy as i could be. it has everything i need, though it does have some stuff i turned off in forscan that i don't need, and there are some things i cannot turn off that i don't need, but everything the wife and i use are on this trim level.

maybe when the wife grows tired of her 4 door wrangler, she can get a ranger raptor. i keep telling her that will be her next truck, ha ha ha. but who knows, we sure don't need any of that stuff here in south texas. we don't go to the beach or off roading though she likes having something that is sporty and quick (hers is not a wrangler with that dog v6 in it, she has the 2.0 turbo hybrid which is made by alfa romeo, and you can tell its a sports car motor because teh jeep is quicker than my truck with procal on it).

Some of us buy it because we want all the capability, even if we don't use it. For some, a small premium is worth the joy of driving a cool, fast, hard to find truck. I love the power and don't give two flips about the MPG.
