3k under MSRP OR 3k under THEIR price...? When I bought my 24 it was hard to find a dealership willing to sell it at MSRP (had to go 500 miles away). Remember that MSRP is set by ford and not the dealership. Go onto ford and build that exact truck and that is the MSRP and only pay that number. MSRP and window sticker at the dealership are not the same thing. I used to sell cars and know alot of people DIDN'T know the difference. If that Marsh grey is really 3k under MSRP and new I would go with it. I have a shelter green but that Marsh would be my 2nd choice.
Basically "Sticker" is what a dealer wants to sell the vehicle at. MSRP is what FORD says the price should be. Maybe that will help you decided. Good luck.
How does that work? The window sticker that the dealership provided me was identical to the one shown on Ford's website. I also did build it on Ford's website which gave me the same price. As I understand it Ford creates the window sticker not the dealership. Am I misinformed?

T&C's? I compared sticker to sticker, the only differences are mud flaps and wheel lock kit on the green. The difference is stickers is $220. The difference in dealer price is 62599 for the green, 59015 for the gray. Those include processing fees on both.
I was quoted 2K off sticker but the cavoite was I had to finance the vehicle with Ford. It appears a great deal if you can get 3K off the sticker with the Marsh Grey.... I would go for it.

Both colors are good.

Marsh Gray is easy to keep clean. It hides marks and dust.

Shelter Green stands out more. It is a color you may not see often.

If price is lower on the gray one, it makes sense to go see it first.

If color matters more to you, you can wait and see the green one in person.

Pick the one you like when you see it in daylight.

Correct, Ford creates the Monroney labels (window sticker). It is required by law for auto manufacturers to create them and display them in an easy to see place before leaving the assembly plant

It's off sticker, but of course they add processing fee.

If they want me to finance it, I'm walking.

Nope doesn't sound like it. Sounds like you literally did exactly as I suggested. Formerly being in the business, they will be specific with word play. They will use the words like "3k off the sticker" rather than "3k off MSRP" and make people feel good that they got 3k off their sticker that was actually marked up 7k over the MSRP using terms like "fair market adjustment" and upcharging for every lil thing they did like $800 floor mats or $1,200 conditioning fee etc... and whatever else they can build the price up...most will have 2 prices on the vehicle, the actual MSRP paper taped to a window as well as their upcharges with a final price INCLUDING their upcharges... No manufacturer calls the MSRP the "sticker" price that is a dealership term from when they put number stickers on the window to show the price. The sticker is what the dealer wants to sell for. Just saying people have to be specific because the dealership saying sticker may not mean MSRP. Guess you happened to find a honest dealership that didn't try to sell or include anything else in the price. When I bought my RR I called all over the country and heard multiple times "are you aware of the namesake mark up" or told straight up " There is no way we are selling it at MSRP".

I had the same kind of interactions with dealerships when I asked for below MSRP price.
I found an upstanding dealership in Minnesota that advertised discount from MSRP with no add on. Salesman couldn't understand why I was asking for the out the door price. It was exactly what the ad said, no funny business. I was shocked and bought the Raptor immediately. My paperwork was so simple, price, small document fee and shipping cost. Three items only. Document fee included temp tags. The best buying experience I've ever had. After the sale they sent me a tin of chocolate chip cookies as a thank you for my business. There still are good dealerships out there, you just have to keep looking.

COOKIES, NICE! They are out there just far and few between. Bought my Bronco Badlands from Granger Motors in IA at 5% under MSRP and they were also legit and hassel free and stayed true to the deal even 2 years later from when I placed the pre order. no cookies but good. I called them to buy my RR from them but they couldn't do it.

I have a cactus gray 24 and it hides dirt really well. I’ve seen a couple green ones and they are always dirty looking unless freshly washed

You're not misinformed but "sticker" can also mean their price after the add-ons, which they can also stick to a window. It's dishonest and bullshit, but some dealers will try it. My local one did. "Oh, that's not the sticker I was talking about, this is the actual sticker". Yeah, bye.

Brought the Marsh Gray home today. Color looked awesome in the sun. Numbers lined up. My biggest hang up was telling the wife. She's over it now. Plus I felt a little uneasy trading in a perfectly good 5G XLT. But the drive home helped ease that.:)
