Here's the average through the break in at various speed/rpms. It includes the yesterday's trip.

Got some new pics from my 5 hours of seat time yesterday.
15.9 out on the interstate trip yesterday.

Thought it was cool how the Ranger knows the relatively new speed 80 mph limit on the interstate.

I'm not even in the ballpark of 20 MPG - but I have no highway driving, so that's probably the most of it. (I also have a heavy foot :) and that sport mode exhaust and new BOV I just put on sound too good )

Problem here, doing 80 mph in the right lane, people still pass you like you are standing still.

Is the BOV OK with Ford Warranty?

It still functions the same as the OEM unit (technically) If I had any issues I an put the OEM one back on in like 2 minutes. I know of several bronco raptors (same engine) that have been running the turbosmart unit for some time with no issues.

This is my main concern, I can get a 25/26 Ranger Raptor but 18 mpg is rough. I drive 30 miles a day to work and back, plus whatever I do on my weekends. (Off road, dirt bikes, desert)
I have a 25 Lariat 4x4 with the MPC 2.3
and it rocks MPG.
So for you RR guys.....IS IT WORTH IT???
Should I get the RR?

My truck has ~1300 mies on it and at the moment it's reading 21.4 MPG for 200 miles on the current tank. Most of my driving is rural at 35-45 MPH with few stops, so I suspect my use case is as close to the best you can reasonably do and still light up the rears every now and again. The fuel economy has been steadily creeping up. My guess is that by the 3-4K mile mark, I'll probably be averaging around 22-23 MPG... in good weather. Probably could get another one or two with more street oriented tires, but despite not doing any off roading in my case, just cant justify them at the moment. So yes, compared to the 2.3/2.7 there's a sacrifice to be made for the joy of listening to that engine rumble.

Worth it? I test drove an XLT a few months before buying the RR. I liked it a lot but, not enough to actually pay up for it. In the end, I somewhat accidentally drove the RR, fell in love, couldn't get it our of my head and wound up buying it. So for me, yeah, definitely worth it. Just a nice driving truck... sounds great, handles quite well, goes like stink if you need it to, cruises serenely if you don't. About the only thing I really don't like about the truck is the size of the mirror/a-pillar blind spot.
