Yep, free market…just like how I took some of my free time to waste theirs.

I think a lot of those system are automated and you can sort of spot when the truck is not there yet or in this case not really even available if it were, by the use of computer generated stock photos .

Now if they had real photos take at the actual dealership then that is when I would get a little concerned. I think in this case as it was with many of the trucks I called on the Dealers system just sees invintory they were invoiced for and generates an automatic listing on their website. Someone has to then manually catch that it is a sold order and take it off.

The truck I bought was showing up on the dealer website and after I put a deposit on it, the dealer manually removed it from there advertised inventory. So, I know it can be removed, if they are made aware of it.

I have am experiencing the same thing on a Raptor I have already purchased that on the dealer’s website shows as “in-transit’. As you said, I will definitely complain if I see pictures of my actual truck. I will Likely be on vacation when it arrives so I am apprehensive about the delivery As it is!

My Dealer had 6 2024 rangers listed, (including mine), all listed as "in transit". Pretty sure it's automated at a corporate level. As soon as mine was delivered and signed for, it was removed from the dealership pages.

Mines listened on my dealers site - my VIN different truck. I’ve been down to see it - the have a big SOLD sign in it. They have to fix the bumper - it’s not flush on the drivers side. Its finally here after 9 1/2 months but bummed that I have to wait a few more days while they fix it.

Just got mine home. Its in the driveway. Love it. Got the 1000.00 discount. One expired in December of last year but got the new one that was started in Janurary of this year. I live in South
