Another new product release by American Adventure Lab – BRAPs (Bed Rail Attachment Points)!

This one has been a long time coming. It may not seem like a huge deal until you need to secure some cargo in an odd way – then you realize what a lifesaver these really are!

With the BRAPS installed, you get rock-solid top plates that instantly add secure attachment points to your Ranger’s bed rails. They mount in either the up or down position, use our dynamic spacer pack to perfectly match rail height, and provide a bombproof foundation for mounting chase lights, tie-downs, brackets, or our Bed Rack RAILS.

The cutouts in each top plate are shaped and sized specifically for ratchet strap hooks and bungee cords, so you can secure gear quickly without hunting for an anchor point.

👉 Important note: BRAPS are just the top plates. They do not include the bolt-in Nut Plates. However, we designed them to work seamlessly with our Bolt-In Bed Rail Nut Plate Set (released last night). Together, they make accessory swaps unbelievably fast – you can move or remove your BRAPS in about a minute without crawling under the truck or fighting factory hardware.

Highlights:
  • 3/16" 5052 aluminum – lightweight, strong, and corrosion resistant.
  • Configurable in up or down orientation.
  • Dynamic spacer pack adapts to any stake pocket position.
  • Cutouts sized for ratchet straps and bungees.
  • Compatible with Bed Rack RAILS, Light Pod Brackets, chase lights, and more.
  • Designed, built, and tested in the USA.
We’re excited to see how you guys use these in your builds. BRAPS are live on the site now.

The BRAPs Full Kit comes with the spacers. There is a "What's included" section on the product page that hopefully helps. The nut plates are not required for these, but do make them a whole lot easier to use.

If you want all of the pieces, you can purchase these two products:
I'll also have some light pod brackets out pretty soon that work with these. They will be sold in pairs. They're shown in the videos about these products.

I also ordered a set of both on Monday. Do you know when they might ship? Thanks!

I did see a big sheet of bed rail spacers come off the laser a couple of days ago. It was literally hundreds of them. Took forever to cut. There may be some orders held up by those. If you can share an order number, I'll be glad to dig into it for you.

Looks like the nut plates are still in fabrication. I'm out for an event this weekend (we work 4-10's), but if they're not finished with fab by Monday, I'll stay late to make sure they get finished up. We sold quite a bit more than expected with the Labor Day sale, which is great, but it has made for some long nights in the shop.

wonder if they will work with my cap, if I get some thicker weather stripping to go under the cap on the rail... they would have to follow the contour of bed rail, to go under the cap or have a option to mount under the rail and come out and up.

if you get thicker insulation, then they will work. i think i am going to do that on my tonneau instead of removing a shim.
