Hi Brit,

Support did responded back and I found the messages in my spam. Please pass on my apologies and thanks to support. I'll be installing them this weekend and will post pictures.

Thanks,
Bob
That's great to hear. We scrutinize those processes pretty tightly now. Happy that the processes are working. Thanks!

Questions...

I'm torn. I had my heart set on a Decked drawer setup for storage. I'm looking at going the GFC topper route and thinking that the Decked system will be too big (yes there is a lot of unused space with this) and take up too much space.

With that thought, If I ran a full set of the Bed Molle Panels, would I be able to run maybe a BedSlide? Not sure that has been tested as of yet.

I have so many ideas and things to put on the Molle System, just curious how I can fit it all together. Main idea for the BedSlide is to get my Dometic out a little further for family and get to some of the harder to reach items for day-to-day use.

Absolutely you can use slides with the bed MOLLE panels. There's still quite a bit of room for accessories on the panels due to the wheel wells protruding into the bed. So the slides can't be very close to the MOLLE panels.

I'm finishing up the bed slides today. We'll have a few different widths but all will be the same length for the initial release, 54". They will use 500# rated slides with a lifetime warranty. They have been great in our Gladiator line.

We will also have a few different sizes of drawers as well, similar to our Gladiator drawers!

So I'm having trouble taking off the factory tie downs, since I have a spray in bed liner. Before I accidentally strip them out, do I use a T50 or an M8 Allen for those? Also, any tips for breaking them loose with factory bed liner sprayed on and in them?
Hi, I'm having the same issue with the factory spray on liner. I was able to get one bolt half way out until it stripped the star. Do you have any tips for me to remove the tie downs?

Thanks

To remover the bed liner from the bolt head, I used a side cutter around the bolt head and used needle nose pliers to remove the bed liner from the bolt head. It also pulled it right out of the fastener hole.

I used a 13" 3/8 breaker bar with a size 40 Torx Plus bit. You can use a normal T40, but you need to be very careful and go slowly. Ford used red loctite, but once I got past that it went ok.

I used a small mallet to knock the tie down and that seemed to remove it without pulling the bed liner from the side of the bed. I cleaned up the bed liner using the side cutters.

You can also cut around the edges of the bolts and tie down hooks with a razor knife or sharp pocket knife. If you do that, it should prevent the liner from tearing. It doesn't take much to cut through the liner.

I used a razor knife. Work well.
I love the instant feedback with product. I'll make sure and get a section added to the instructions about how to handle trucks with spray in bedliners. This is great! Thanks.

Could you also mention the fastener types used for the tie down loops? That was a stumbling block for me. I didn't know that Torx Plus was even a thing before I dove into figuring out how to install the panels. Starting with an electric impact wrench was a big mistake on my part. Works much better initially breaking them with a breaker bar slowly.

Absolutely! I like the breaker bar suggestion as well. We have had ours in and out so many times, that first breaking loose operation was many moons ago. Thanks!

Heads up, Your website is saying you don't ship to Oklahoma when trying to check out. Worked a couple weeks ago when I ordered the hitch relocate and then the Molle panels.

Looking to add some tool mounts for my Molle panels. Which rock by the way!

Also, for the folks asking about install over bed liner, it can be done. You may (likely) need to use a tap set to carefully clean out the threaded holes. If they sprayed over the tiedown bolts a sharp metal pick can clean out the bed liner inside the torx.
