New Tires on RR Beadlock Capable Wheels

When putting new tires on the RR wheels, does the tire shop need to remove the beadlock capable rings? If it's required I thought I'd just remove them myself and reinstall them myself. Just don't want them scratched up and damaged.

No they dont, the rings aren't deadlock, they are beauty rings. The wheels are obviously capable but not with the current rings.

They can be removed by you, they are removed to install new tires just rings for looks as stated above
There are folks that remove them in the winter so they do not get scratched

Not the OEM wheels but when I had my RRW wheels with the beauty ring Discount Tire did scratch the rings when they dismounted tires. I was lazy and didn't take the rings off.

When I got my 315s mounted discount tire told me they had to remove the rings to avoid scratching them with their machine. Something they default to doing on all the RR, Broncos, etc with beadlock capable wheels.
